QR code menus

A QR code menu you can change in the middle of service

Guests scan one code and see the current menu. When a price changes or a dish runs out, you edit it once and the printed code stays the same.

Pankarta Grill is a fictional restaurant we use as a demo.

What you get

  • A code that stays the same

Print the QR code on table tents, stickers, or the front door. It keeps working when you edit the menu or switch templates.

  • Changes on the next scan

Update a price, add a photo, or mark a dish as sold out. Guests see it the next time they open the menu.

  • Allergens and tags

List the allergens in each dish so guests can read them on the dish itself.

  • Several menus

Keep lunch, dinner, and drinks as separate menus on Pro, and choose which ones are live.

  • A public page for the restaurant

Each restaurant gets a page with its hours, location, featured dishes, social links, and links to delivery apps.

  • What guests look at

See views and scans, and on Pro, daily charts and the dishes guests tap most.

  • A QR code that fits your look

Pick the colors and dot style, and add your logo in the middle of the code.

  • Your team in one account

On Pro, invite staff and let them edit the menu without sharing a password.

How to set it up

  1. 1

    Write the menu

Add categories, dishes, prices, and photos. Most of the work is typing what you already have.

  2. 2

    Choose a template

Pick a layout that fits the room. You can change it later without touching the menu.

  3. 3

    Print the code

Download the QR code and put it where guests sit. Test it on two phones before printing many.

What Pankarta doesn't do

We would rather you know now. If you need one of these, a different tool will serve you better.

  • Ordering and payment from the table
  • POS or kitchen display integration
  • A custom domain for your menu
  • Automatic translation of your menu

Common questions

Do guests need to install an app?
No. Guests point the phone camera at the code and the menu opens in the browser.
Should I still keep printed menus?
Yes, keep a few. Some guests don't have a phone with them or find a printed menu easier to read, and a printed copy also covers you if a phone or connection fails.
Can I use my own website with it?
Yes. Link to your Pankarta menu from your website or your Google Business Profile, or use the restaurant page as a small website.
How long does it take?
It depends on the length of your menu. Typing in the dishes is the slowest part. Photos can wait until later.
