Don't print it too small
About 1 inch wide is a common minimum at arm's length. Read the printing guide.
Leave a clear margin
Keep text and borders away from the code. The download already includes a white margin, so don't crop it.
Common questions
- Does this QR code expire?
- No. The link is written into the code itself and doesn't pass through our servers, so it keeps working for as long as your link does.
- What if my menu link changes?
- A code made here can't be changed after you print it. If the link changes, you need a new code. A Pankarta menu avoids that: the printed code stays the same and you edit the menu behind it.
- Can I point it at a PDF?
- Yes, if the PDF has a public link. Keep in mind that a PDF is harder to read on a phone, and you have to upload a new file each time something changes.
- PNG or SVG?
- Send the SVG to a print shop, since it stays sharp at any size. The 1200 px PNG works fine for table tents and documents.
